Feature Post: The Drive to Explore!
Do you ever just yearn or ache to explore? To get out and see something or somewhere new?
But, maybe you don’t have much time off of work or funds aren’t as full as you want or need for travel. Well, some of our really good friends, Kyle and Jeneca Frederiksen over at The Drive to Explore have all the tips and tricks for you!
Kyle is currently a grad student and Jeneca works as a dance teacher, while they raise their adorable 2 year old, Rosalie. They have busy lives (who doesn’t), but have found ways to continue traveling. On their site they state,
“Our mission is to provide our readers with the inspiration, tools, and knowledge to explore often, while doing so comfortably, wisely, and as inexpensively as possible.”
They believe that travel and adventure doesn’t have to mean spending a lot of money or even flying on an airplane. You can have just as much fun exploring areas close to you or in the same city you live! Try visiting a new museum, a park, or another nearby city. That being said, flying isn’t out of the picture! They take a lot of great trips to new and exciting places by plane, too. They give their readers awesome tips on how to be budget-friendly and find the best deals.
I love reading about their experiences! Their tips are always so helpful, plus they are tailored towards families with young children (sign me up!). They also put together awesome vlog videos, which are always fun to watch and give me an idea of where they have been and where I want to go.
