Day Hike Packing Checklist Printable
We love getting outside to play, explore, and especially hike. Before, and since, moving to South Carolina, we have found many trails to wander with and without the kids.
I admit hiking without the kids can be a lot more enjoyable and simplier, but hiking WITH the kids is always more adventurous and exciting!
With that being said, there is also always more stuff we have to pack to go hiking with the kids. So, if you’re anything like us (a-hem have kids), and like to hike, then I’m sure you’ll find this checklist helpful!
We don’t always take ALL of these things, either. Depending on the hike, the area, the weather, will determine what we pack. All of the items on the list have been things we’ve taken on some hike or other, though. But, SOME of these things are definitely must haves every time we go hiking with the kids!
We never leave for a hike with the following;
- Water Bottles
- Hats & Sunscreen
- Good shoes
- Bug Spray
- Wet Wipes & First Aid Kit
